A few more pics: - Draveshaft Adapter. It's actually custom made, since the place that sells them hadn't made one specifically for this engine. The guy (Hawk Machine) was awesome to work with and when I indicated that the one he sent wouldn't work, he supplied me the custom adapter free of charge.
- Modified driveshaft. It's nearly three feet longer than stock and has a slip joint from a 4WD front driveshaft since there is no slip yoke on the tranny like a conventional RWD car has.
- Approximate position of the installed engine before I built brackets.
- Solidworks image of the header I plan to build. I bought a header kit on sale for about $70 that included parts to build a header for a Chevy small block in an open car. This gives me plenty of strainght and mandrel bent tube to work with, I can just cut and weld. All four tubes are within 0.5" in length.
