Frank's absolutely right.

It's a shame we experienced owners let these cars rot. Mullet's car was sound when he got it. Not pointing fingers - I'm just as guilty. The ForkenSwift was mostly sound where it matters when we started the project, but is much less so now. I oiled it (half-heartedly) a few times, but mostly ignored it. And now the passenger side control arm area is probably cracked. Salvageable of course, but also entirely preventable.

The Flea on the other hand has gotten much better anti-corrosion care. (A case of ignoring the crappy car and looking after the good one.)
