You might check the test I ran (linked below in my signature file). My design is pictured in my avatar. I got rid of the "box" I used. It's not needed. I saw a modest increase (2%) in MPG. Good luck. Post your build/results...

EDIT: a note of caution... there is some skepticism that WAI's work on more recent models, something about the sensor, I forget, but I think and hope some of the others who have more critical opinions will chime in here.
