The mods have to fit the driver's technique and the road conditions generally encountered? If the driver can't (or does not want to) adjust technique to the mods, or if the mods don't fit the conditions, the mods usually have to go?

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color.
