So... has anything changed since you first vented, last month?

I occasionally get made fun of for my car/mods/driving style. It happens: good friends poke fun; strangers have pointed and laughed at the Firefly's mods; relatives look at my choice in car(s) and tease ... "where's the rest of it?"; etc., etc., etc.

But the older I get, I find I care less and less about that ish. (Thick skin = Thick skin + birthdays?)

I also prefer the "non-proselytizing" approach, so I therefore don't find myself getting mad because people would rather continue complaining than hear me out.

My friends/family/acquaintances know that I know something about this stuff, and once in a while someone will ask for advice. (EG: a pickup driving friend recently asked me about mods and how much money they would save on his daily round trip 200 km/ 120 mi commute to his temporary job site.) Then I talk.
