Not really - how many times have you had someone step out in the road in front of you when you were doing 70mph?
It happens almost daily at 20mph in town!
Besides - It's a training exercise, not a simulation of a fatal accident!
(I also don't have that much of a death wish!

I once drove a borrowed 3 series BMW SE Touring flat-out on an unrestricted auto-bahn in Germany. I was doing 140mph when, in the far distance, a car doing 'only' 70-80mph overtook another vehicle, causing me to brake really heavily from 140 to 70mph.... Hairy....
