I am interested in a few additional dimesions, specificaly the width of the rear of the tail section where the tail light and the licence plate are mounted. also the width at the front of the tail section at the seat back? on my VT 500 the dimesions of tail section are width 18" [46cm], at the front and 0 at the rear, I plan to mount the licence plate in the same fashion as Craig Vetter; behind the riders head, on my other projects I will be squaring off the rear end like you have; 10cm wide for the CBR600 and 15cm wide on the KLR650, mostly to reduce the overhang behind the rear wheel.
