Totally doable. I average about 60mph on the freeways, pulse and glide with the engine on for most coasts. I commonly get 60-65mpg under reasonably good conditions. For steady state driving I guess you plan a series of mods like the aerocivic? His base was a CX, I think. The CX/VX final drive ratio is far better than our 6th Gen DXs. It has a 3.250. Ours has a 4.058.

You planning wheel skirts and an at least partial undertray? That parachute of a rear bumper/cover assembly is some low-hanging fruit.
