Well I got new tires on Saturday. Bridgestone ecopia LRR tires. I filled up right after getting the tires so this tank (~300 miles) is all on the new tires. I can tell that something is better on this tank then the last few. the Scan gauge is calibrated a bit conservative (one or two ticks) and the tank average is 54.4 MPG. I have had several trips to and from work that have averaged 60+ MPG and over over 62! my former best trip to or from work in similar conditions was 56.4 MPG.
These tires have also reduced road noise by 10 to 20%.
