if the app gave me all the things my ScanGauge II does, as well as the ability to log this info (excell export, local graphs), log other perramiters: GPS route, elevation change, out door temp,user added items. then I would be interested. If it just was an info app then its not worth paying for. if its got all the above features, and works on Android and Ios, with a cable that costs under $40 I would be willing to pay for the app. free trial to test it and then I would pay $10-$18 for it.
I agree with some of the others, I do not pay for something thats not helping me do something better then what my dedicated tools do. logging is a tool I will pay for.
Side note, all SGII have a Ethernet plug for daisy chaining them together, it might be a better hook up option then the OBDY2 port.
