Looks like beautiful weather you had at Bonneville, did you enter a vehicle this year California98Civic ?
I did not enter a car, but it seems like it would be fun to do so in future, maybe at a closer event like the SCTA meets at El Mirage dry lake bed. I would be interested to see just what it could do, reasonably, in a longer run as flat-out top speed, but without torturing the thing, like those crazy dudes in the 36hp Challenge. It would just be fun to go as fast as possible, without worries about the law and other drivers.

As to BYU's car, as I recall, the track announcer on the radio said it was a 400watt, 400 amp motor. Sound wrong?

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.
