HA! I assume you mean gas mower...
I have to hypermile my
rescued-from-the-trash-battery-electric-mower (because: old battery). Mow in long passes, rather than many short passes (think: long side of the rectangle) so you waste less energy while changing directions. Also: go as fast as you can. Hypermiling a push mower = running
