I think that's what Otto was asking about
: why did you aim for 0 degrees? An upward taper is more ideal -- better to make the rear of the pan upswept, if you can. Not too much, or too abruptly. (The extent of the curve/angle depends on how much distance from the beginning of the upward taper to the end of the belly pan.)
EDIT: green line shows a better "box" - upswept and extended further aft to gain more length for tapering.
