I'm running Royal Purple 5w30 in the transmission. It was about $8 cheaper than Honda MTF. I have read on - Bob is the Oil Guy that there are anti-wear agents in the Honda MTF that will not be in motor oil. That's convincing to me that the MTF might be significantly better over time, and so I plan to switch back to it once I do the probable transmission swap this winter.
