Actually, I didn't vote. I don't have enough experience to be able to say. My mom drives a Jeep, but she's a conservative driver and carpools with my dad. Result: neutral to slightly on the good side.

My sister in DC doesn't like to drive; she takes the subway. As to any other habits, since she started college I have no observations. My sister in Boston works in a different city, so she's on the down side. Between the two of them, I'd vote neutral.

My wife you already know about in nauseating detail.
Grandma grew up farming with horses and lighting her house with oil. She picks the easiest route every time, turns off lights every time. She drives a dinky little old econobox. She's solidly on the good side.

That's the pool I'm observing. That's not enough for me to go making sweeping declarations.
