I drove a 1979 Rx7 in SCCA Solo II Showroom Stock racing. I would swap 0n 15inch 50 series Contis when I would race.....it was like being on a roller skate!!!!!!
I dont think I ever got 19 mpg!!!!!
course the 79 had a 4 bbl carb........(way before my eco-modding days!!!!)
