Yes and no. I like them, but I just don't like the fact that they are full time AWD. Plus the AWD models only came with a 1.6L, not the 1.5L, as far as I know anyway. Tercel 4wd wagons with selectable 4wd from that era should be my first choice, but they were never available with fuel injection. And while the Corolla 4wd wagon was fuel injected, now the car is getting too big. I'm picky, who knew? ha ha. If the Civic AWD wagon was selectable 4wd then it would be my #1 choice for sure.
I should see if I can find a pic of my ex's car. I got it for her in 2000. 1987 Tercel 4wd base model wagon, out of an estate sale. In 2000, it had 62k KMs (38k miles). She walks to work, and the car stays in the underground parkade. As of this May when I put air in the tires for her, it had 83k KMs (51k miles). Onnnnne day she'll decide to get a new car, and needless to say, the lineup to buy that Tercel off her starts right behind me ha ha
