41mpg at 75mph cruise in the rain in a non vtec-e Civic seems pretty good really. If you were actually pulling 41 at 75mph then you can bet you'd be up near 60mpg at 55 mph. Seriously, play around with the "Aerodynamic & rolling resistance, power & MPG calculator" on this site and you'll see.
