Not having a MAP value is a problem: The ScanGauge calculates fuel consumption based on AIR consumption; it doesn't directly monitor the injectors.

So if it doesn't have access to air data via MAP... well, Houston, we have a problem.

Just to confirm it isn't a units/conversion problem, I would also try running it in Gallons/Miles mode. I doubt that's the issue, but worth a quick look.
