They are your seats, do as you please with them.
If any one gives you any trouble say you removed them for extra cargo space one day and hurt your back taking them out and that reinstallation appears to be the more difficult step in this cycle.
Then maybe the big strong police man or state vehicle inspector person will offer to put them back in for you (which I see happening never).
