I have not been overal impress with the Micheln Energy X.(not that they are bad)Just makes me realize how much marketing and promotion the tire mfg will use to sell products with marginal/minimal improvement. The newer intro like orange oil tire and newer LRR are coming but this time I will hold my breath before getting "new" or "cutting" edge products.........
I hear you. I almost moved up to 15" wheels to get broader tire selection. The Michelin Defenders are almost all there are in 13" LRR. But I want the 9.7lbs VX wheel more than the gearing and selection on 15" choices. And my crappy 14" Ultra GT tires have so little tread left that I fear the rains coming... need that new tread!

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.
