Put the 13" VX wheels with 175/70 Michelin Defenders on the front of the car tonight, pumped up to 55+psi for now. The rear wheels will be keeping their 175/70-R13 Michelin HARMONY tires that I bought with the wheels two years ago (still going strong with beautiful tread).

Weighed the OEM 14" alloys and the 13" VX wheels with the tires mounted: 33lbs for 14" wheels and 27lbs for 13" wheels, give or take. So the benefit is less that I thought, but these are narrower, and the rotational mass benefit should equal at least 24lbs. I'll take it, especially since I do a lot of P&G.
