^^As a Finnish American, I envy anyone who is actually in Finland...except in winter, which is most of the time. And even then, I'd rather surround myself with Finnish drivers in wintertime. East Tennesseans see one flake of snow and they all go completely insane, hotpedaling all the way to the grocery store to snap up all the soup, bread and milk. In the morning, there's 1/2" of snow on the ground and dozens of cars on their roofs in the ditches. Crazy.
Hits:
For 2013, I got two cars above the "Hypermiler" threshold.
I've begun consistently averaging well above 40mpg on my DD. This was a non-model-specific goal, if I'd known I'd be driving a hybrid I would have shot for higher.
Misses:
I have added no aero mods to any of my vehicles.
I haven't finished repairing my G'ma's old Colt Vista. Need tentacles for arms for some of those bolts, and I have no lift and indeed no room in the shop for the car, so it takes cool but not-rainy weather, and daylight.
