I am not eco-car enthusiast for sure - I love big engines and american cars. I own '90 Buick Skylark with 3.3 V6 engine. But eco-drving is one of things that i should think about, because of petrol pirces in my country, that combined with not so good MPG in my Buick make me drive it less, and less, and less...

And again - sorry for my english! I wish that You will correct my mistakes.

Cheers!
Welcome.

Some guys on here drive huge Cummins trucks with 6 liter turbos, so you're on the middle sized range of engines for ecomodders... but if you want a "new" car to mod-out for fuel economy, check out the Lupo 3L or Audi 3L. A guy on here living in Finland did an amazing mod project with one of those: http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...tml#post251416

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.
