Yes, i definitely should connect the front belly pan with the middle belly plan to smooth the airflow underneath the car.

The sti already comes with a front skid plate that reach stretches from the front bumper to about middle of the front wheels, therefore, there is only about a 6" gap between the front skid plate and the middle belly pan.
