I also extensively used DFCO throughout instead of engine off coasting and braking. DFCO was for engine cooling and power generation. I turned the alternator on only during DFCO. The result is the lowest reading on the charger (3.37 kwh ) that I have ever had for a tank. FE was about the same or slightly lower over the last several tanks. The higher shift points might have been the reason for the FE drop, or not. Can't tell.
Wouldn't the DFCO be the culprit as well? Any time you are using it, your coasting time will go down significantly so I would think it would be far less efficient than using EOC.
