Seems like this was a ploy to fill space on their pages with text and pictures of an incomplete project before they dropped in an over enthusiastic weedeater engine in what will no doubt be an attempt at max track speed or 1/4 mile times, in slow motion.
Sad thing is I lived over in japan for many years, went to a lot of street races and you want to know how many honda civics I saw line up, zero owned by Japanese nationals.
If I did see a honda civic pull up to the starting line it was driven by some 6 foot tall white boy or black guy, a fellow air force member and they were promptly slaughtered.
The airmen would race each other around the chemical plants north of base or by the docks near base.
I referred to those races as the special Olympics.
