Sorry about that, it's not always clear who you are talking with on a forum. Honest mistake.
As for 3-speed vs 4-speed auto, just pay attention to the number of times is shifts as you accelerate from a stop. You should be able to tell. Just don't mistake the converter locking up for a shift.
