Internet phone services like NettalkDuo are so cheap you could just change your number. I have used the internet services for years, changing numbers every year or two. I'm also on the do not call list. And I almost never give out my home numbers, or I give my work number if I need to. It's amazing how unwilling telemarketers are to call my employer. And I get those work-phone voicemail messages forwarded to my email so I can access them almost anywhere.
