This is not meant to take away from your accomplishments...

Running in high speed traffic that is dense enough can be more efficient than running alone, even at lower speeds.

I rarely get to experience it (don't live in a fast/busy part of the world), but on the rare occastions when I do, it always feels like a Christmas present! I get to drive fast and get great economy!
