Third 700+ mile tank in a row! Hey, it's not 100 mpg but my 66mpg will do just well enough to keep me in the top 10.

More importantly, my grill block redesign greatly improved my electric use from the grid. I recorded 3.04 kwh on the killawatt, which equals 242.17 miles/kwh for this tank. That's like 40% better. And if anything it has been hotter. I reduced the blocking, ducted more thoroughly to the rad, and moved the license plate out of the way. I could actually see the difference at one point today, on a commute to a nearby city for a work meeting. Last time I did this trip with the old blocking the coolant temp would often climb until the fan came on. This time is often hovered at 199, sometimes tripping to 203. But I didn't see the fan come on much. Not scientific, but encouraging.

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.
