Yeah. I don't check too frequently either. Need to right now, actually. I get the times warmed up first, check, and pump them to 60 psi. That's so that cool or cold I have my best chance at staying near, at, or above 54 psi (44 recommended on the sidewalls). MetroMPG in his test--IIRC--found 10 psi over sidewall to be the point where benefits seemed to max out. Good enough for me.
