Watch for it to be loosing coolant by percolating out of the overflow tank or as steam in the exhaust...
Overheating can quickly lead to a head gasket failure even if it wasn't the cause of the overheating. Watch the temps like a hawk until you get it sorted out. Hopefully it's just something simple like a thermostat.
