I've said I've wanted to do the aluminum block swap to drop weight.
I'm finally doing something about it.
Here's my CVPI motor that I'm tearing down to swap over to the aluminum block.

And BOOM!

I got the oil pan and most of the internals removed today.
Tomorrow I'm looking to finish removing all the internals, and *possibly* get that block off the stand.
By the way, I do have another stand for the aluminum block, but I just want to get it out of the way.

More updates tomorrow.
