Several threads discussing coroplast as the ideal material for belly pans. Very lightweight and very sturdy.
Any metal will vibrate if thin enough to work. To avoid vibration it has to be too thick and weighs too much. Also requires too many mounting points to reduce vibration. Thereby a pain in the ass to remove
Think about what manufactures use.... Formed (ridged) plastic. That is basically what coroplast is.
