To make a long story short, the kit was mostly cheap Chinese electronics. This makes for a low cost kit, but also a low quality kit that has issues. I put a ton of hours into try to make it work well and I was sick of putting more time into it so I sold it.
If I were to do it again, I'd go the way Planetaire went. His setup is great.
