you want to argue about adjustment (continually) like that will reduce the 20X greater light. YOu ignore the basic science and engineering that goes into a headlamp.

So let's start with the basics of lamp design

A.There is the light spectrum.
B. there are different points on the light spectrum
C.Each light source: hid, led, halogen etc creates unique light along different points on the light spectrum AND w/ different hot spots.
D. THere is a specific light source created/designed and engineered for each Chrome lamp housing
E. Housing design is a science. The idea is to PROJECT light down the road. To reduce the amount of light up close. (reason Is to create the eye focal point down the road not up close)
F. Each housing is designed to achieve these goals from the unique different characteristics of each light source.

now, reddevil, its your turn to have a discussion on the facts above.
you can agree with the facts. (laws of physics) or disagree (please provide proof.)
