I'll have to look for my original shots with stock vs LED, both have the higher portion of the beam on the left side, not sure why.

That would be appropriate in countries where people drive on the left side of the road.

Yea, but it's a US model bike with a DOT approved headlight lens/reflector.
Either way, even with the wrong side dipped, it's still no where near high enough to blind anyone with the low beam.

It IS illegal.
I cant believe you don't know that........

you want to argue about adjustment (continually) like that will reduce the 20X greater light. YOu ignore the basic science and engineering that goes into a headlamp.
So let's start with the basics of lamp design
A.There is the light spectrum.
B. there are different points on the light spectrum
C.Each light source: hid, led, halogen etc creates unique light along different points on the light spectrum AND w/ different hot spots.
D. THere is a specific light source created/designed and engineered for each Chrome lamp housing
E. Housing design is a science. The idea is to PROJECT light down the road. To reduce the amount of light up close. (reason Is to create the eye focal point down the road not up close)
F. Each housing is designed to achieve these goals from the unique different characteristics of each light source.
now, reddevil, its your turn to have a discussion on the facts above.
you can agree with the facts. (laws of physics) or disagree (please provide proof.)

We firmly disagree on this and will not convince each other.
Now let it rest.
This thread is about LED headlights.

I got mine and put them in today, here's a picture (upside down):
Might be a little hard to tell, but the cutoff is SUPER clean and there's actually less light above the "line" than the stock halogens. These are H11s (projectors), which should be cleaner than the highly housing dependent H4 reflectors. Light output wise it's not really much brighter than stock, probably because the "60W" rating is BS and also because the human eye picks up the yellower halogen light better, but now my headlights draw less than half the power they used to, look way cooler, and for 50 bucks will never need replacing, so I'm happy.
Anyone with halogen projectors, DO THIS MOD.

Do yours have any adjustment for the placement of the led? Looks like the total output is better(even with the high color temp that I dislike also), but too spread out and low. I would think that if you could manipulate the led to get a brighter area just below the cut off it would do better.

Haven't looked into it, but I'm sure there's an adjustment screw. I think it's fine as is.

looks good to me also. there are other 'colors' to choose from and focal point is where I would want it.
did you mount the other yet?
can you get some distance shots?

serialk11r -- Now that's a nice cut-off. What is the depth of the housing/reflector compared to the H-4?
