You must be moving to a short throw crank, then, or else sleeving the cylinders. That's a two liter engine according to Wikipedia - which is, of course, infallible.
I had a 4g64 in an Expo AWD I got from my grandmother a year or so before she died, it was immaculate inside but the chassis was absolutely raddled by 20 years of Minnesota winters and the engine dropped a valve after about six months of use. Too bad, I thought the level of aftermarket enthusiasm for the 4g series was pretty strong.
