Where would you source that from? And of course I imagine you'd put a rig like that into a FWD, not AWD.

I'm working on a 1.0L 4G63 engine that can be utilized in my future FWD 5 speed manual transmission Talon.

I will have a full write up as I get closer.

You must be moving to a short throw crank, then, or else sleeving the cylinders. That's a two liter engine according to Wikipedia - which is, of course, infallible.

I had a 4g64 in an Expo AWD I got from my grandmother a year or so before she died, it was immaculate inside but the chassis was absolutely raddled by 20 years of Minnesota winters and the engine dropped a valve after about six months of use. Too bad, I thought the level of aftermarket enthusiasm for the 4g series was pretty strong.

sleeving down or destroking to half of the original displacement would be rather extreme(though with a head/cams intended for a 2-liter, it would probably make quite the screamer)... perhaps 2-cylinder mod?

Looking at getting one of these today.

This would make tuning much easier and safer for me. I will purchase a dash mount also and mount it right in front of me. I probably will go with a blue tooth remote key board also. When I'm pulled off the road and need to review data logs.

I hooked up the Stream 7 to my car today after I received my micro to USB Host cable and Arkon mount.

After playing with it I'm very happy with the mount and the fact its not impairing my vision. I think I will still purchase a Bluetooth key board for the
F Keys that make navigating easy on some of the ECM Link features.

Nice pics, and I just noticed in the pic that this is an automatic transmission. Your last three tanks average 54.43 mpg and it is a turbo auto transmission street racer car. Do you have average speed data? I wish I did, but my UG speed calculation goes haywire when I use EOC.

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.

I don't have a average speed data parameter output. I'm just going by the time and distance of the test trip. I use the same route over and over to keep everything as close as possible.

Also keep in mind I have been running waste solvent enable, so my true MPG without waste solvent is still just 42 to 45 mpg.

I don't want to miss guide anyone when the waste solvent is enable. I just don't know how to explain it other then waste solvent is dis-able or enable.

The waste solvent so far is free. At some point and time it might not be, then i will have to associate it with a cost to run my solvent recycler to generate waste solvent and add it to to true cost of the waste solvent fuel used.

Been doing some EGR testing with the Talon. I have found out with cold EGR I'm not seeing any improvement in FE. In fact there is even a small decrease. I think this is do to the extreme lean burn condition I'm running.
So I'm going to try to see later this fall what it does for my emissions while on a chassis dyno with a exhaust sniffer.

The car is doing very well. I'm very pleased with the power and its efficiency.
We have had a record year with very high temperatures this Summer. This is helping with FE a ton. Our DA is around 5200'.

This winter I will be making some changes in the charge pipe configuration. I'm going to run a single pipe up inside the passenger compartment instead of underneath the car. I will need all clearance I can get for when the snow gets deep this winter.

The waste solvent unit is my favorite item on the car as of now. With these hot summer days I can even run over a 50% mix. I'm seeing different amounts of usage the engine wants base on different batches of waste solvent. I have a ton of waste solvent to test on now. My local shops have been very helpful giving me as much as I want.

Can't wait for Fall. I have been getting dehydrated from this strange hot Summer. The Talon will be much more driver friendly when it gets cooler.
