Dave, my brother painted the ZX2 out in our backyard. I'm not even joking! He mixed his own paint and sprayed it himself. The paint is 3 layers of Rustoleum Professional Safety Red, topped with 2 layers of Massey Ferguson tractor paint, that is topped with 2 coats of auto grade clearcoat with some automotive paint glitter. The Rustoleum came out more of an orange red, so he added the 2 coats of MF paint to redden it up a bit. Using the tractor paint fits my country boy persona beautifully
It is not perfect, but it is so much better than before
Edit: I forgot to mention that he told that he will color match my boat tail when I get it completed!
And thanks y'all! It truly is a bigger blessing to give your time, energy and self to others than to take take take. The area is rough. It used to be one of the biggest coal mines in America, but it has shut down since Obama took office. Method is rampant, and so is alcohol abuse. People are third world kind of poor too. Mr. James lived in a 300-400 sq. Ft. shack with no insulation on the side of a mountain. He ia only one out of many in Eastern Kentucky that are like that. It is a truly humbling experience each time i go.
