max boost can be pushed past the systems capacity to yield higher pressure. The increase in pressure is from heat 450°+iat.the same volume of air is pushed in just expanded (less efficient) to combat this problem an intercooler is used (larget than stock. Or more than one cool cooler.)
Increase iac=increased egt =Faster spin on turbo(expanded exost gas) this can snowball quickly into melted pistons.
My 91 dodge stock as Cummings built it.
I see this on long hills w/ac on my intercooler gets heat soaked from the condenser. I'll pick pu 100°-150°f on my egt meeter
@wot I. See the turbo lag on egt meeter egt will spike to1100°f and as pressure increases (engine leaning out) egt drops to 1000°f.
At idle(cold in park grid heater on)250°w/ac+25°
Idle (worm) 275°
Idle (cold hot in gear)300°
Compression breaking. 150-200° and 2 psi boost (reason over feeding o2 as stated by others leaner is colder)
