It wouldn't affect the calcs but visually could give you off values if the rounding is too significant (ie hundreth vs thousandth place).

For example the Scangauge does the same thing: it said I had traveled 207 miles but based on the fuel usage and MPG value (both from SG) it was actually using the car odometer reading of 207.7 and not just 207. It was truncating the decimal values visually but was still calculating the correct MPG.

(assuming of course that the fuel usage is accurate... I won't know until my next tank refill)
