A fellow WRX owner on here pointed out that his Crankshaft position sensor wire on ENGINE SIDE is white (pin #3)...my Sti's is blue.

Therefore:
STi pin #3
Engine side - BLUE
Firewall side - WHITE

WRX pin #3
Engine side - White
Firewall side - White

I've confirmed this with the Service manual. I've updated my instructions to include this new information
