Today, I went to pick up a set of snow tires and rims for my father's F150. We decided to take the car + trailer, since it was ~2 hours away and would cost a fortune in gas with the truck. We brought one of his stock rims/wheels to make sure it would fit, and then brought home a set of 4 plus the sample rim with truck tires in the trailer. Total gas cost ended up being about $7.50 at ~60mpg. Average speed was around 65mph with snow tires on the car, some dirt roads, and rain.
Used the trailer to move a king size bed and box frame a few months ago, and again to move most of our stuff to a new house around a month ago.
