I've been researching Wayne Gerdes recently... Wow. I am nowhere as close to an extreme hypermiler as I thought. He has inspired me to try harder and explore unused tactics. It is paying off, as I got 54.3 mpg and 56.0 mpg traveling to the fiance's yesterday and back home. This is without the 2 mile EOC that I had when I lived at my mama's, and the weather is much cooler now. Maybe I can keep the 90-day average around 50 mpg this winter after all?
My mpgs might improve this winter if I keep trying as hard as Wayne did!
