You're right, I guess the Geo is cable clutch. The only reason i thought it was hydraulic is because every old Honda that i've driven with a cable clutch, the clutch pedal was really hard to push down. Since newer Honda's switched to hydraulic clutch, the clutch effort was way easier.

Since the Geo clutch is so easy, I just assumed it was it was a hydraulic clutch.

Yes, there is about 1 inch of free play at the top of the clutch pedal. I'll look into adjusting it.

UPDATES: I used the kill switch more generously for my commute to work: 65mpg! Previous best was 61mpg.

So with only 2 mods (fixed a broken exhaust and kill switch) i've improved mpg by 18%
