I used to think the Metro's clutch was light, too. And then I drove a 2014 Mirage. It's also cable actuated, and it's the lightest clutch I've ever used... laughably easy. You can easily push the pedal with a finger... it makes using the Firefly's clutch feel like an old farm truck by comparison!

And yes, it sounds like yours is out of adjustment or worn. Mine bites enough to restart the engine in the bottom 1/3 of travel.
