My first trip to work with the new petrol resulted in 58MPG, Insight would have done about 75-80 so, I'm seeing about a 15mpg difference, at higher speeds in the Civic, and I can't P&G in the Civic whatsoever due to the CVT transmission.
I would think there wouldn't be any point in P&G, so long as the transmission has a tall enough final drive to keep the engine at high load. P&G is basically a way to get around pumping losses associated with fixed gearing.
