More early MPG results... (still not ABA though)
Best highway mileage ever this weekend for one leg of a trip (100 km / 60 mi) I took to visit my sister & her family. Pretty ideal conditions: 16 C / sunny & dry / next to no wind. Cruising speed: 80 km/h on the scenic route (50 mph). Cruise control most of the time, but I also drove with load a bit (tapped speed up & down on some hills).

71 mpg US
The car+tail loves the warmer weather. That's a massive difference from the previous best for the same trip (with tail) of 3.8 L/100 km = 62 mpg US in colder, windier conditions, which was even at a slightly slower cruising speed.
